Alternative Construction Delivery
Through FreemanWhite’s active leadership and participation in numerous recent Design Assist, Design Build and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) projects, outcomes have been positively, dramatically affected. While each of these three project delivery methods has unique attributes, the formal inclusion of primary project stakeholders early in the process has led to overall increased confidence around schedule delivery and target value cost. In many instances, these Alternate Delivery Methods may be directly credited with reducing actual construction costs relative to initial construction budgets. Importantly, early contractor input and guidance on construction costs and schedules provides the framework for enhanced decision making relative to cost efficiency. Early contractor involvement during the design phase also provides a platform to resolve constructability issues prior to construction.
No matter your preferred delivery method, FreemanWhite supports and promotes integrated approaches that bring project team members with diverse expertise together for collective problem solving. The early assembly of the entire team also leverages FreemanWhite’s analytic tools, providing even greater positive impact on long term project outcomes.
