To capture the vision of the new administrative office building for Orlando Health, our team employed several design strategies and technologies. The project was initiated with a concept sketch that was followed by the rapid production of digital study models. Parallel to the development of the space program, the team continued to enhance the chosen study model with material palette information. Working in a digital medium allowed the owner to make quick decisions and provided the team flexibility to respond with revised solutions! With planning and documentation underway, we were able to use the models to simulate how the building would respond to natural forms and solar cycles to validate material selections and user comfort.
